There’s something truly luxurious about the idea of taking a cruise to some faraway place. There are few experiences as transcendent as feeling the warmth of a summery ocean breeze kiss your cheeks while you watch the sun splash into an orange haze over the horizon.
Cruises are often looked at as the iconic representation of luxury travel. You have access to traveling, fine dining, entertainment, culture, and relaxation, all within an arm’s reach.
Of course cruise ships have some drawbacks, namely the sheer size of these vessels. With thousands upon thousands of guests and crew aboard the average cruise ship, enjoying privacy, intimacy, and a casual moment can be a challenge.
The family-owned SeaDream Yacht Club had a bigger vision. They believed they could find a way to combine all of the luxurious benefits of a cruise ship with the privacy and comfort of a yacht.
In 2001, they did just that. The SeaDream Yacht Club – a part of the Seabourn Cruise Line, which was founded in 1987 – came to life and brought with it two innovative cruising mega yachts. At first glance, it’s easy to see how SeaDream successfully created a travel experience that melds casual comfort with refined elegance. But these revolutionary vessels also made it possible for travelers to see and experience the most intimate ports, harbors, and yachting playgrounds that larger cruise ships simply cannot reach.
Suddenly, parts of the world that had gone unseen to cruise ship vacationers, was finally accessible, thanks to SeaDream Yacht Club.
Today, you can see the SeaDream fleet sailing the Mediterranean Sea from May through October, giving guests the opportunity to soak up sun and centuries of culture. The rest of the year, the fleet spend their time in the Caribbean, taking guests to secluded islands, beachfronts and more.
No matter where in the world SeaDream’s yachts journey to, they do so with first-class accommodations.
